JOB SUMMARY:
Do you have a passion for the wholesale/Distribution sector and feel that it is time to put your expertise into practice at a new company? Our client a large nationally renowned retail distributor is looking for an experienced Financial Manager with relevant experience to join their finance team team management experience is essential. Do you have what it takes?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Management of a large Team including training, mentoring as well as providing leadership support
Mentor and develop national teams
Maintain and improve Internal Finance Controls
Management of daily accounting, Creditors, Debtors and Costing activities
Provide monthly forecasts on cash flow and balance sheet accounts
Analysis of processed transactions
Manage month-end closing process
Review, Reconcile and post payroll
Maintain Fixed Asset Register
Review bank and creditors reconciliations
Calculate, prepare and submit VAT201 returns
Management of annual audit and contact for auditors
Maintain the integrity of Financial Reporting and controls
Resolve accounting issues and suggest improvements

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of Financial Management or similar experience
Retail/ FMCG/ or Distribution/ Wholesale experience non – negotiable
Large Team Management experience is non-negotiable

Qualification:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance
