POSITION INFO:
A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a Financial Manager/Accountant to join its team. This role offers a balanced mix of hands-on financial duties and client interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both numbers and people. Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily banking activities and ensure accurate processing of transactions
Oversee creditors and ensure timely and accurate payments
Handle quotations and invoicing using Pastel
Receive and allocate payments efficiently
Perform reconciliations across various accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure attention to detail at all times
Engage confidently with clients when required

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric with a relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting (BCom preferred, but not essential)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting systems such as Pastel, Sage, or Ariba
Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail
Good understanding of financial processes and reconciliations
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (advantageous)
Strong personality – confident, proactive, and not afraid to engage with clients
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
