Our client is a growing concern that operates within multiple industry sectors however their predominant focus is within the Engineering, Automation and Manufacturing space. They are recruiting for an Operational Finance Manager that will be involved with the full finance function, operational reporting, costing, tender submissions and more. This role will be on Manco level, thus previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous.

Duties:

• Management of Full Finance Function & Operational Reporting
• Financial Reporting & Variance Analysis
• Preparation & Presentation of Management Packs
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Building Financial & Costing Modules
• Profit & Loss Reporting & Management
• Margin & Trend Analysis
• Cost Saving Initiatives
• Cashflow Management
• Stock Controls
• VAT & Tax
• Due Diligence Reporting
• Assistance with Tenders & B-BBEE Compliance

Education & Minimum Experience Required:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA
• Must have no less than 5 years’ post articles experience, preferably within a Manufacturing, FMCG, Production, Automation, Engineering, Mining or similar industry sector
• Experience in a Managerial role would be advantageous
• Must have Financial Modelling & Costing experience

Skills & Other Requirements:

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• This role is ideally suited for an individual that is accustomed to working within a highly pressurised environment where one might be required to work overtime from time to time
• Must be able to take full ownership and accountability for your role
• Must have a stable track record and contactable references
