Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

SUMMARY:
An established organisation within the property and real assets sector is looking to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and delivering meaningful financial insights to senior management.

The FP&A Analyst will play an important role in supporting the financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes of the business. The successful candidate will assist with delivering accurate financial insights, management reporting and Board reporting packs that support effective decision-making.

Working within a collaborative finance team, you will gain exposure to executive-level reporting, financial modelling and business performance analysis. This role is suited to a driven finance professional who thrives in an analytical environment and enjoys working with complex financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly forecasting, reporting and annual budgeting processes
• Prepare management reporting packs and Board committee reporting
• Assist with external reporting requirements, including half-year and year-end results
• Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools
• Assist with monthly financial performance reviews
• Coordinate and manage the annual insurance renewal process with brokers

• Education:
  • Honours degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • CA(SA) or CIMA qualification advantageous
  • Completed articles
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience or completed articles
  • Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting environments
  • Industry related experience will be advantageous
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Skills:
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
