POSITION INFO:
Our client, a distinguished global contender and prominent South African legal powerhouse is seeking a detail-driven Financial & Cost Accountant to join their growing team. This exciting role is perfect for a professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and adding real value to the business.

As part of this role, you will also serve as a Commissioner of Oaths, ensuring the certification of internal documents with the highest level of integrity and professionalism. Duties:

Prepare, analyse, and report on financial and cost data to support decision-making
Certify and verify internal documents in line with Commissioner of Oaths requirements
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal control frameworks
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Provide accurate financial insights to support business growth

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years post-articles experience
Strong background in both financial and cost accounting
Registered as a Commissioner of Oaths (or eligible)
High attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
