POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial and Cost Accountant who not only understands the numbers, but can leverage them to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a robust background in financial accounting and cost control, with the ability to uncover efficiencies, optimize value, and support sustainable business growth.

Financial and Cost Accountant Duties:

Prepare financial statements
General ledger management
Month-end and year-end closing
Tax compliance
Budgeting and forecasting
Internal controls and compliance
Cost analysis and allocation
Standard costing
Inventory management
Profitability analysis
Margin and break-even analysis
Reporting

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Excel
ERP
SAP or Oracle
Microsoft Word

Skills Required:

Experience in audit consulting, legal or a related field is required

Qualification:

BCom in Accounting
Completion of Board exams are required
SAIPA articles would be advantageous

What Do You Need?:

BCom Financial Management or similar
CIMA will be an advantage
Full finance function
Balance sheet
Reconciliations
