Fixed income Trader

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide Tiered clients with regular, quality, asset class specific, market intelligence
Revenue generating focus (be proactive and able to take initiative)
Manage and execute orders with due care and accountability
Generate and distribute maintenance research/marketing intelligence for Fixed Income
Generate and distribute bespoke or new ongoing research products/ideas
Patriciate in and arrange regular client interaction (as well as roadshows)
Timeous responses to client queries
Participation in morning meetings

Required Experience & Qualifications

Tertiary qualification (must have a working knowledge of Statistics and Economics)
Completed all applicable exchange exams (RPE)
Relevant experience with sufficient experience in the Fixed Income market in a related role
Proficient on trading/information systems (Bloomberg, Nutron, YieldX, Hermes)
Strong interest in Fixed Income, minimum 3 years sell side trader experience
Must be current with market drivers and conditions/news
Must be current with share specific drivers and news
Advanced Excel skills (including VBA)
Proficient on trading/information systems (Bloomberg, Nutron, YieldX, Hermes)
