ð Senior Front-End Developer | Hybrid (Johannesburg)

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join a leading software team in Johannesburg. This hybrid role requires an expert in React.js, modern front-end frameworks, and responsive UI design. You’ll be responsible for implementing new features, optimising performance, mentoring team members, and ensuring seamless user experiences across the Wamly application.
ð¡ Non-Negotiables:

5+ years professional frontend development experience
Strong React.js & state management expertise (Redux, MobX, React Context)
Proven experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Git version control and agile delivery mindset

ð Qualifications

Essential: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
Desirable: None specified

ð Requirements

5+ years frontend development experience in a work environment
Experience with React.js and state management libraries
Strong knowledge of modern authorization (e.g. JWT)
Experience with REST APIs, UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Material UI)
Familiarity with Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn
Agile environment exposure
Experience with Git for version control
Desirable: Cloud exposure (AWS preferable)
