Full Stack Developer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
This role offers exposure to meaningful, data-driven products and the opportunity to work closely with scientists, geneticists, product owners, and engineers. You will have real influence over frontend architecture and technology decisions while operating in an environment that values autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption and implementation of appropriate frontend technologies
- Architect and develop scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly frontend solutions
- Design and integrate new data sources using custom-developed APIs
- Guide and mentor frontend developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate closely with product owners and UI/UX designers to deliver solutions on brief
- Ensure applications are robust, responsive, maintainable, and production-ready

Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience:
- Proven expert-level experience in frontend development
- Track record of leading frontend projects and mentoring team members
- Exposure to fast-paced or start-up environments
- Working knowledge of backend software development

Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and frontend frameworks such as Angular
- Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
- Exposure to additional frontend libraries or frameworks

Non-Negotiables:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables
- Comfortable operating in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment
