JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fund Accountant

Leading Asset Mgt firm seeks starter-finisher. Pivotal role to run daily Fund accounting or portfolio admin of Unit Trust Funds (money market, asset portfolios, Funds of Funds and ETF’s). 24-month Contract. Great culture.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure daily transactions are accurately processed in Investment Admin + Pricing systems.
Eliminate incorrect NAV calculation.
Perform daily reconciliations for the portfolio.
Deliver accurate daily Fund packs to pricing managers with reconciliations.
Detect high level Fund errors.
Prepare monthly audit packs with schedules and reconciliations
Assist with accurate monthly, quarterly & annual regulatory reporting.
Other key duties to be discussed at interview stage.

Qualification and Experience

BCom in Accounts or relevant Degree. Hons an adv.
Exp in Fund Accounts or Investment Admin.
Understand Unit Trusts, Fund Products etc
Exp in HiPort & pControl (a plus)
