Job Purpose The Funeral & Life Cover Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling funeral cover and life insurance products to existing and prospective bank customers through outbound and inbound telephonic engagement. The successful candidate will build customer relationships, identify client needs, provide suitable insurance solutions, and consistently achieve sales targets while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Contact prospective and existing customers telephonically to market funeral cover and life insurance products. Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions. Explain product features, benefits, pricing, terms, and conditions clearly and accurately. Address customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally and effectively. Achieve and exceed individual sales and quality targets. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity on the relevant systems. Ensure compliance with all banking, insurance, and regulatory requirements. Follow up on leads and customer enquiries to maximize conversion rates. Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships. Participate in ongoing product and sales training initiatives. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Matric (Grade 12). NQF Level 6 qualification or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 12 months' experience in telemarketing, telesales, or contact centre sales and previous experience selling funeral and life cover policies is essential Experience working in a banking, financial services, or insurance environment will be beneficial.
