SUMMARY:
An opportunity is available for an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring production efficiency, quality, profitability, and operational excellence. The role includes leading multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with labour and safety legislation, and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Minimum 8-10 years' senior management experience in the aluminium manufacturing, glazing, or façade industry Proven experience managing a manufacturing or production facility Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication, manufacturing, and installation processes Sound understanding of BIBC requirements and South African labour legislation Experience managing production, warehouse, procurement, logistics, and installation teams Computer literate with ERP or manufacturing system experience Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field Project Management qualification advantageous Valid driver's licence By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the (processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and\/or MPRTC's clients and\/or verification information suppliers.
