GERMAN SPEAKING Assistance coordinators - Cape Town CBD - R22,000.00 pm
The structure of shifts is following:
Morning - 7:30-15:00
Afternoon - 14:00-21:30
Night - 20:30-8:30
Weekend - 8:30– 20:30
Medical aid : Discovery: Classic Smart Option for employee + max 2 children (paid by the company)
Retirement annuity: 10% of basic salary (after successful completion of probation period of 6 months) – also paid by the company
Shift allowances will be paid once a candidate is scheduled for shifts – after training
The current shifting structure is as this with 12 hours night shifts with modification of morning and afternoon shifts.
You are expected to work 3-night shifts a month if nothing else is agreed.
Job Description:
- Communicate over the phone and via email with policyholders, a worldwide network of medical providers and our colleagues around the world
- Co-ordinate logistic arrangements locally and internationally to assist policyholders in medical or difficult travel situations
- Work closely with medical professionals internally and externally
Job Requirements:
- German speaker with full professional fluency, also in English
- Pro-active and performing well under pressure
- Flexible and open-minded to ongoing changes and training
- Previous work experience in Medical Assistance, Insurance, Claims Handling or Tourism will be an advantage
- Matric or higher
- Decent computer user skills in Microsoft Office tools
- Must be able to work in shifts including some weekends and some evenings/nights per month (main shifts are daytime, at this stage).
- SA VISA secured already, ideally
- FSB registered – a big bonus
