The Role As General Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the factory. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business produces quality concrete products efficiently, maintains high standards of performance, and builds a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall management and performance of the concrete manufacturing factory. Understand and respond to the specific material needs of the market. Ensure efficient production processes that deliver quality products on time and within budget. Establish, maintain, and improve operational standards across the business. Develop and implement systems, processes, and infrastructure that support sustainable growth. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Apply equitable rules, contracts, and policies consistently across the organisation. Use objective measurement, reporting, and data analysis to monitor performance and drive decision-making. Lead regular review and reflection processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Manage financial performance, budgets, resources, and operational risks effectively. Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, maintenance, and factory operations. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Commitment to high standards, fairness, and objective performance measurement. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities. A qualification in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or a related field will be advantageous.
