General Manager

• Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development so as to meet agreed business performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.
• Interact and engage with other General Managers within the group to ensure integration and strategic alignment (are there existing other GM’s within the Group)

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

• Manage client requirements and/or expectations and effective contract management
• Build and manage sound relationships across all levels within the Department of Foreign Affairs.
• Effectively manage and resolve conflicts resulting from performance levels and maintain a reputable good service delivery.
• Represent the company in high level supply or commercial initiatives and negotiations where required.
• Report to shareholders/board on organizational plans and performance
• Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, protect and develop the company's brand
• Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by quality issues)
• Master’s degree in Business Administration
• Electrical/Mechanical diploma as per the OHS requirements
• Public Private Partnership experience
• 10 years relevant experience, with a demonstrated track record.
