General Manager: Asset Management

Overview:

Execute and manage the organisation’s asset management portfolio in line with strategic mandates and facilitate and implement an integrated strategy for creating an environment that will strengthen the organization''s fixed asset base.

Key Performance Areas:

• Development and implementation of strategic and operational policies
• Develop and implement asset management system/ plans/ policy development & communication
• Disposals and development management of ECDC properties or in partnership with other parties
• Operational oversight of the asset register as well as financial reporting
• Ensure asset risk management and shareholder value retention and growth
• Maintain the asset performance management system
• Management of the Unit and its resources

Required qualification / Minimum requirements:

• Honours degree in commerce / economics/ accounting science / CA
• At least 10 years relevant senior management experience of which 3 years senior management experience in the property sector
• A deep understanding of property asset management dynamics
• Advanced financial management and analysis skills
• Experience of working in multi-cultural and diverse teams
