JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a General Manager to be responsible for the day to day running of a transport business. Duties would include:

Ensuring all targets are achieved
Managing and maintaining KPI's
Ensure fleet compliance
Ensure fleet compatibility to client requirements
Industry experience in chemical transportation
Ensuring company meets SHEQ / HSE, safety and quality requirements
Ensuring optimal planning and utilisation of fleet
Manage depot and facilities
Attend and present at monthly management meetings

Experience required:

Relevant experience within logistics essential
Must have previous management experience
Proficient in MS Office
Previous experience within the chemical industry would be advantageous
