SUMMARY:
A leading franchised motor dealership in Ballito is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership. This role is responsible for driving sales and aftersales performance, managing departmental managers, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the dealership achieves its financial and customer service objectives.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the New Vehicle, Used Vehicle, Service, Parts, and F&I departments. Drive departmental performance to achieve revenue, gross profit, and CSI targets. Lead, mentor, and performance manage departmental managers and their teams. Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational efficiencies to maximise profitability. Ensure compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and legislative requirements. Analyse dealership performance reports and implement improvement strategies. Maintain strong customer satisfaction and effectively manage escalated customer matters. Collaborate with the Dealer Principal on strategic planning and business growth initiatives. Oversee stock management, workflow processes, and overall dealership presentation. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and customer excellence. Minimum Requirements 3-5 years' experience in a senior management role within a franchised motor dealership. Strong understanding of vehicle sales, aftersales, parts, and dealership operations. Proven ability to lead multiple departments and deliver commercial results. Excellent financial, operational, and people management skills. Experience working with dealership management systems and OEM reporting. Valid driver's licence. Matric; a tertiary qualification in Business or Management is advantageous.
