JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the chemical industry has an EE opportunity available for a General Manager Supply Chain based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

University/Post Graduate Degree in Supply Chain or related qualification
10 years’ + experience in a senior Supply Chain leadership role
Experience with interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver against objectives.
Must have experience in overseeing the full supply chain: planning, procurement , 3rd party logistics, shipping etc.

KPAs:

Manage strategic customer and customer relationships.
Support the overall organisational strategy by developing and delivering operational plans and acceptable outcomes for supply chain across the business.
Identify and manage stakeholders to top management level, establishing needs/issues/concerns and responding to these in the required manner.
Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of supply chain.
Take overall responsibility for designing, developing and delivering the organisation's supplier management strategy.
Manage the delivery of the business’s procurement strategy.
