Generalist Support Engineer

SUMMARY:
Do you have experience with customer documentation, technical incident reports and identifying gaps in technical documentation? An opportunity exists for you to showcase your skills in handling complex incidents, problem resolution and performance developments within an ITIL environment of an internationally established organisation.

POSITION INFO:

Working as part of an on-call rota team you will be responsible for responding within SLA timeframes to MSC Tier 1 calls out of hours

You will also attend to the change advisory board for any customer change requests and provide technical consultancy by the VC and onsite

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 years VMWre vSphere6

Minimum of 3 years Dell Servers and Dell EMC Storage

Minimum of 2 years Azure IAAS

Solid understanding of enterprise storage techniques

Extensive scripting knowledge, PowerShell, Power Cli

Widespread knowledge on container technologies such as Kubernetes

Qualification:

IT related qualification

CISCO CCNP Data Centre

MCSE/MCSA

Dell Server and Storage Application

ITIL Foundation
