Global Mobility Lead (Consulting and Advisory Services)

Location: Virtual Office / South Africa

Position Overview:

A global technology and innovatively driven Consulting and Advisory Services firm is seeking to employ an experienced Global Mobility Lead to establish a global mobility function for the group.

One will be responsible for the management of mobility requests and management of international assignments while guiding stakeholders on mobility-related activities.

It aims to support the international opportunities needed by their business partners and employees in order to achieve their potential and grow their careers as well as develop a global, inclusive, and flexible mind and skill set, thus making their people invaluable to their clients.

Key Performance Areas:

Define the people mobility vision and strategy.
Responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of international assignments.
Manage intake of mobility requests from stakeholders in the region (where required).
Stakeholder relationship education and management.
Understand the business case to map the appropriate relocation package, prepare cost estimates and manage the preparation of assignment contract/s.
Ensure letters of assignment and all relevant assignment documentation are prepared efficiently and effectively, working with relevant partners e.g., HR, Finance etc.
Manage relocation services.

Minimum Requirements:

Sound general knowledge of Generalist HR Recruitment and Selection, Career Management, Performance Reviews, Termination, Remuneration, Induction and Employee Relations.
Excellent understanding of Tax and Immigration Legislation, as well as relevant Employment Law.
Must have dealt extensively with Global Mobility Services across the following countries: USA / Europe (essential).
