Are you a recently qualified BTech Electrical Engineering graduate who enjoys getting involved on-site, solving technical challenges and learning from experienced engineers? If you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and want exposure to exciting projects across mining, industrial and renewable energy sectors, this opportunity is for you.
My client is an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) engineering company delivering turnkey engineering solutions from concept and design through to installation, commissioning and project handover. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects that make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist with the design, installation and commissioning of electrical and control systems.
Support EC&I projects across mining, industrial, commercial and renewable energy sectors.
Participate in site visits, inspections and commissioning activities.
Assist with PLC, instrumentation and control system troubleshooting.
Work with flow meters, level instruments, pressure transmitters and other field instrumentation.
Support the testing and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and control equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
Assist with project documentation and technical reports.
Work closely with senior engineers to deliver projects safely, on time and within specification.
Be willing to travel to project sites when required.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements BTech in Electrical Engineering. Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals. Exposure to PLCs, instrumentation and industrial control systems. Knowledge of flow meters, sensors, transmitters and process instrumentation. Basic understanding of electrical panels, MCCs and control systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings. Valid driver's licence will be advantageous. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
