POSITION INFO:
Duties:
- Process and reconcile high volumes of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Prepare journals, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required.
- Assist with VAT calculations and submissions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve queries and improve financial processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Completed Articles (SAICA/SAIPA or equivalent).
- 1–3 years’ post-article experience in any industry (retail experience advantageous).
- Strong ability to manage and process high volumes of transactions.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
