JOB SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity in Green Point, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Finance desk is currently recruiting for a Group Accountant for a leading international energy developer. Led by a dynamic team the company has a large and ever-growing international footprint.

Critical to this role is extensive consolidation of multinational entitities.

Key Responsibility (but limited to):

Balance Reconciliation
Internal and External Audits
Consolidation of Multinational Entities
Management Accounts
Intercompany Reconciliation
Accounting as and when needed
Reviewing of Accounts as and when needed
Support and guide subordinates

Minimum Requirements:

B Com Degree / Cost & Management Accounting qualification
5 - 10 years relevant accounting experience either as a group accountant or in an audit firm.
Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles preferred
Computer literacy in MS Excel at an advanced level essential
High attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Assertive, "can do" attitude
Team player, also able to work independently
