Group Consolidation Manager Lead the Group month-end close and consolidation across international operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while improving and scaling finance processes through systems, automation and AI. Remote - South Africa | UK Working Hours | R60,000 - R100,000 per month ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client operates across international regions, with multiple entities and currencies requiring consolidated Group financial reporting. The business is integrating newly acquired businesses and developing scalable finance processes through finance system implementations, automation and AI. THE ROLE: GROUP CONSOLIDATION MANAGER The Group Consolidation Manager will lead the Group month-end close and consolidation across international operations, working closely with regional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely Group reporting. The role will own monthly Group consolidation across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, while supporting acquisitions, finance system implementations and migrations, and improvements to Group reporting processes. The position will also identify opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce manual work and make month-end, consolidation and reporting processes faster, more accurate and scalable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the Group month-end close, coordinating with finance teams across all regions to ensure deadlines are met. Own the monthly Group consolidation, including consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting. Review regional submissions, consolidation adjustments and key balance sheet reconciliations. Work with the wider finance team to ensure intercompany balances are appropriately reflected and eliminated on consolidation. Maintain and continuously improve the Group close timetable, consolidation models and reporting processes. Support monthly management, Board and investor reporting. Help integrate newly acquired businesses, including aligning accounting policies, chart of accounts, systems and reporting processes. Lead and support finance system implementations and migrations, including onboarding new entities. Identify opportunities to automate month-end, consolidation and reporting processes using AI and other automation tools. Maintain strong financial controls and consistent accounting policies across the Group. Lead the consolidation aspects of the annual audit and support Group statutory reporting. Drive continuous improvement to make the Group close faster, more accurate and scalable. ABOUT YOU Solid track record in Group consolidation and leading multi-entity month-end close. Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Experience working across multiple regions, entities and currencies. Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and controls knowledge. Experience working with and coordinating regional finance teams. Strong systems and process-improvement mindset. Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance\/ERP systems. Comfortable working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment. Accent qualified. Experience with acquisitions, system implementation and AI\/finance automation is highly desirable. Media, digital content, technology or high-growth business experience is advantageous. You will also help integrate acquisitions and use systems, automation and AI to reduce manual work and continuously improve Group reporting.
