POSITION INFO:

A wellâestablished manufacturing company, based in Johannesburg, is seeking a Group Accountant to strengthen their finance function. This role sits at the centre of group reporting and compliance, offering exposure to multiple entities and complex financial operations. The Group Accountant plays a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting leadership with reliable, decisionâready information.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and consolidate group financial statements.
Manage monthâend and yearâend reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity across the group.
Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and groupâlevel variance analysis.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting / BCompt or equivalent qualification
SAICA articles completed (essential)
3–5 years’ postâarticles experience within a commercial or manufacturing environment
Strong consolidation, reporting, and technical accounting skills
