POSITION INFO:

A growing company operating within the Energy space is looking for a dynamic individual to join their Centurion based finance team as the new Group Financial Accountant.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree in Accounting
Completed South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and/or South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles
Minimum 5 years’ post articles working experience
Previous working experience using the QuickBooks accounting software package is non-negotiable

Job description & Skills:

Engaging with the relevant administrative staff and/or technical staff to optimise the efficiency of the Group

Assisting the company reporting specialists with the implementation of new reporting and/or planning applications

Facilitating software support according to the client and/or internal reporting specialists’ requirements
Developing Microsoft Excel models and/or reports that make use of external data from scratch
Configuring and implementing a new application and facilitating the development of report templates
Compiling financial reports, that is management accounts, budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and statistical reports
Providing data analysis and/or compiling financial reports to be presented to management
