SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Property industry is currently looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their Johannesburg North based Finance team. If you are the ideal candidate for this Group Accountant vacancy, please apply!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) designation and/or eligibility
• Minimum 2 years’ post articles working experience
• Previous working experience involving extensive company group consolidations is required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel software skills

Job description & Skills:

• Compiling financial reports, that is management accounts, budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and statistical reports
• Providing consolidations for all company group entities
• Ensuring that financial records and financial reports are accurately compiled and efficiently managed in accordance with relevant data management software systems’ requirements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Engaging with the relevant administrative staff and/or technical staff to optimise the efficiency of the Group

Assisting the company reporting specialists with the implementation of new reporting and/or planning applications

• Facilitating software support according to the client and/or internal reporting specialists’ requirements
• Developing Microsoft Excel models and/or reports that make use of external data from scratch
