A reputable concern with a focus in the agriculture and manufacturing spaces is looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely sourcing and completion of monthly financial information. The Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for journals, general ledger management, reconciliations, month end reporting and liaising with the auditors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing consolidations for the group.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Newly Qualified CA (SA)
CA (SA) with 2 years post article experience
Excellent academics preferred

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience in/audited manufacturing or agriculture or FMCG
Strong understanding and working knowledge of performing complex consolidations
Strong understanding and working knowledge of performing consolidations for multiple entities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a high-pressured environment
Comfortable working in an unstructured and changing environment
Confident and assertive
Excellent technical accounting skills
