Group Accountant role available within a leading Civil Engineering and Construction company based in Johannesburg East (EE/AA)

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a well-known concern within the Civil Engineering and Construction industry. They form part of a larger group that’s been in operation for over 60 years and they have a footprint in Africa as well. They are recruiting for a Group Accountant to join their team. The successful incumbent will be a SAICA registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with a minimum of 2 years’ post articles experience within the commercial sector. The successful candidate must have Group Reporting and Consolidations experience and incumbents from a listed or multinational environment are preferred.

Financial & Statutory Reporting
Consolidated Annual Financial Statements
Vat & Tax Calculations
Consolidated Management Reports
Preparation of Budgets & Forecasts
Actual vs Budget
Cash Flow Reports
Assistance with Accounting Queries
IFRS Compliance
Financial Control & Governance
Audit Engagement
Preparation of Exco/Manco Packs

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified CA(SA) registered with SAICA
Min 2 years’ post article experience within the commercial sector
Group reporting and consolidations experience within a large, multinational or listed entity preferred
JDE and Hyperion (HFM) experience preferred
