A leading provider of high-quality food products with operations in Africa is looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for reviewing the final trial balance and balance sheet as well cash flow management. The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for month end reporting, system implementation and tax calculations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly and quarterly forecasts and drafting the annual financial statements.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting
Completed CIMA

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 5-6 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in the manufacturing/FMCG/pharmaceutical industries is preferred
Experience reporting into African countries and willing to travel into Africa
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident and assertive
