POSITION INFO:
Join a respected mid-sized Group operating in the dynamic manufacturing and publishing sectors, with a footprint that spans across multiple entities. They're all about collaboration, visibility, and value, and they’re looking for a seasoned Financial Manager to be the right hand to the Group FD.
Based in Montague Gardens, this role offers you the opportunity to work close to home while enjoying the impact of a group-level portfolio. You’ll be involved in board-level decision-making, JSE exposure (ideal, not required), and drive cashflow and treasury strategy with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of group consolidations, including monthly reporting and variance analysis across business units.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with operational heads.
• Oversee and improve cashflow planning, treasury management, and working capital optimisation.
• Support compliance, audit, and JSE-related processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) designation – non-negotiable.
• Minimum 4+ years' experience in a Financial Manager role, ideally within group structures.
• Solid exposure to consolidations, budgeting, cashflow and treasury functions.
• Industry exposure in manufacturing or publishing preferred.
• Advanced Excel; ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro, or similar).
• JSE exposure is a strong advantage.
