JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accurate and timely delivery of consolidated Group financial reporting results (AFS, interim and yearend results, management accounts, budgets and reforecasts) in accordance with IFRS

JSE listing requirements, Companies Act and Taxation Act (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)

Analytical review and preparation of analytical reports and commentary on the Group financial performance

Daily review and monitoring of financial transactions (including payroll, VAT and income tax) within head office entities

Management and ensuring adequate functioning of the Group financial reporting systems and controls (including implementation of new financial systems and processes where required)

Assisting with the evaluation of risks including development of controls to mitigate various Group financial risks and managing mitigating controls (including insurance thereon)

Planning and management of the external and internal audit process and report back to audit committee, including following up and addressing any external and internal audit findings

Qualification:

CA(SA) non-negotiable
