POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is looking for a talented finance professional to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on group-level financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with group-level reporting and consolidations, work closely with executives and senior stakeholders, and develop your technical skills in IFRS, financial systems, and audit processes. The purpose of this role is to accurately process and review financial information at a group level, providing stakeholders with insights that enable informed, strategic business decisions. You will ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare and review group consolidated accounts for executives and board reporting.
Review and validate subsidiary financial statements.
Assist with technical queries and prepare or review supporting documentation.
Train and support finance managers on consolidation and reporting processes.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Manage internal and external stakeholder queries, ensuring timely resolution.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Contribute to change initiatives and process improvements.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Share innovative ideas to improve operational effectiveness.

Experience:

Newly qualified CA with 1 - 2 years post-article experience.
Minimum 2 years’ IFRS reporting experience.
Experience in group-level reporting and consolidations.
Comfortable engaging with executives and senior stakeholders.
Experience in a corporate, professional, or finance environment is advantageous.
Familiarity with reporting systems (e.g., Cognos Controller) is a plus.
