A leader in the mining industry in Africa, located in Abidjan- Côte d'Ivoire, is looking for a Group Inventory Superintendent to join their team. This role will give the successful Candidate an opportunity to join a multi-national team. The Group Inventory Superintendent will gain an opportunity to develop an inventory tracking system, perform daily/ weekly/ monthly analysis and ensure that operations requirements are met. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for career growth!

Duties:

Plan, coordinate & put controls for permanent stock takes
Comply with company safety & environmental regulations
Design & implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
Examine the levels of stock to determine shortages via min maxes
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, & adjustments
Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment
Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems
Avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus. Move surplus to other warehouses
Analyse different ABC stock to obtain the best cost-effective deals

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualification in Logistics/ Supply Chain

5 years + experience in the logistics industry

Pronto Accounting System

French speaking is essential
