JOB DESCRIPTION:

I am looking for a Group Legal Counsel who has extensive experience in the Mining Industry and is well versed in mining regulations for South Africa.

You need to be a qualified Admitted Attorney with at least 15 years of experience along with extensive commercial experience in South African mining law as well as mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to this some of your daily responsibilities will include:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all commercial contracts for the group
Reviewing and negotiating all financing and security agreements required
Attending to and advising generally on all legal matters
Attending to all notices and official communications
Attending board meetings
Preparing legal documentation for board meetings
Advising on labor disputes
