JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a Group Legal Director for their offices Nationally

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Work independently in drafting and reviewing various agreements (both internally and externally)
Ensure legal compliance across the group as relates to relevant Acts and legal bodies
Oversee and maintain the contract management system
Develop mechanisms and reporting to ensure proactive management of contracts
Ability to interpret BEE, associated legislations and codes
Assist in coordinating the audit tasks, creating a project plan and managing deadlines
Working knowledge of South African labour legislation (including EEA, BCEA, LRA and Skills Development Act)
Experience in labour related matters essential, which shall include dispute resolution (conciliation to arbitration), and experience in CCMA/Labour Court matters
Ability to advise on labour-related issues, internal policies and documentation and certain structuring processes
Provide legal guidance and insight to all divisions of the business to ensure compliance and minimize risk

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB)
Admitted Attorney (5 years post qualification experience, preferably within the corporate environment)
No less than 2 years of managerial experience
Working knowledge of various legislation, including but not limited to POPI, PAIA, CPA, NCA, all Companies Act
