POSITION INFO:
Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment? A well-established engineering-focused group is looking for a driven Group Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

This innovative and expanding organisation operates within the engineering and industrial sector, delivering specialised solutions across multiple business units. The Group Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial performance across the group. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and senior leadership to provide financial insight, reporting, analysis, and management support.

This role is best suited to a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-moving operational environment and has experience managing or mentoring finance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
Group reporting and financial performance analysis
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Assisting with operational cost control and profitability improvement
Supporting strategic financial decision-making
Cash flow monitoring and reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related qualification
Studying towards CIMA qualification
Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
Management or team leadership experience essential
