SUMMARY:
We are looking for a versatile Group Projects Manager who is able to oversee and action projects across various manufacturing business units within the group.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum 10 years'' experience in a manufacturing environment (working as a General/Operations Manager preferred)
Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical or Industrial Engineering
Qualification in Project Management is advantageous
Be available to provide counsel and be a sounding board to leadership as and when required
Be available to the business units as a subject matter expert on engineering solutions as and when required
Coach and mentor the Group Project Engineers (Continuous Improvement) within the Project Management Office as well as other talented managers within the organization
Contribute to bringing about a culture and/or philosophy change in the organization towards World Class Manufacturing (i.e. OPEX, 20 Keys, Lean Six Sigma)
Facilitate OEE measurement process and improvement
Facilitate the rollout of OPEX across all operations within the next 18 months
Lead project scoping and execution in all the business units that comprise of the Group and selected external service providers in consultation with operational management
Provide leadership support in critical tasks/issues faced by operational leaders e.g. COVID compliance and management
Influence operational leadership and the executive team in adopting the project method forward closing the critical performance gaps identified in the business unit
