JOB DESCRIPTION:

A major African leader in fibre and communications, is looking for a unique, industrious Group Reporting Accountant to join their formidable team based in Johannesburg North.

Your role purpose and duties will be (but not limited to) contributions to the development and implementation of the departmental accounting systems, policies, and procedures. Support the department through the collection, processing, recording, reconciliations, and reporting of consolidated financial data, verifying the validity, completeness, and accuracy of source documentation. Maintenance of complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets, and liabilities, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of group financial information.

Education Requirements:

BCom/BCompt in Accounting
Honours in Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

Completed SAICA articles
2-3 years post articles experience
Proficient in MS packages
Consolidations and foreign currency transactions experience
CaseWare knowledge non-negotiable
Deadline driven
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
Team player
