JOB SUMMARY:
A global and leading IT and Telecommunications conglomerate seeks a Technical Reporting Accountant to join their team based in Johannesburg North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. You will also support the department through collection, processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of consolidated financial data for group, and maintaining records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities.

This role reports into the Group Financial Manager and has Divisional Accountants reporting directly into this role.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Group reporting
Monthly reporting and financial close processes
Group annual audits
Compilation of annual financial statements
Group budgets and forecasts
People management, training and development

Education:

Honours Degree in Accounting or Finance
CA(SA) qualification will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAICA articles
3 to 4 years post articles experience
Strong CaseWare knowledge
Strong consolidations experience
Strong understanding of IFRS and IAS
Foreign currency experience
Excellent reporting skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Deadline driven
Initiative
