My client is looking for a goal-driven and energetic Group Tax Manager to join forces within taking this manufacturer to new levels. This leader in the manufacturing space prides itself on its brand and loyal customers. This role will give you an opportunity to work with a diverse group of people and oversee various African divisions such as Botswana and Zambia, with that being said, you will have the opportunity to take on complex problems and be exposed to people management across various countries’ borders.

Responsibilities:

Dealing with various African countries tax and Country tax teams
Tax compliance review for local and foreign entities
Review and involvement with direct taxes, and indirect taxes
Managing Transfer Pricing compliance and advisory
Ensure the continuous update of new and existing tax legislation and controls
Double tax agreements within Africa regions

Education:

- Completed BCom degree is essential

- Completed CA(SA) accreditation is advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

- Between 5 to 8 years commercial exposure is essential

- International tax exposure and Africa exposure is essential

- Leadership experience is essential
