OVERVIEW 

We are recruiting a Head of Investor Relations, for one of our clients, an established and well-respected fund with investments in various sectors. This is a great opportunity with a respected team of professionals looking to onboard a Head of Investor Relations who wants to be part of their success story.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Developing the overall firm fund capital raising strategy and implementing it across all the firm’s fund strategies. 

Business development and management for the firm of existing, new and prospective institutional investor and Limited Partner, asset consultant, principal officer and trustee relationships. 

Preparation and presentation of all marketing and fundraising materials related to the firm’s various current and prospective or future funds  

Provision of support to the firm’s business management and deal professionals while addressing management reporting and investor relations strategies. This includes providing financial information, sensitivity analysis and performance related data. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Leading all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept, Private Placement Memorandum (“PPM”) preparation, launch, road show presentations, marketing, LP diligence and closing of investor capital commitments 

• Developing key investor relationships and pipeline for capital commitments and debt funding for the firm’s various funds 

• Working with senior management to structure and market new and follow-on funds for the firm 

• Leveraging investment activity and valuations across all funds, including capital calls, distributions, quarterly valuations and so on, to create bespoke investor presentations 

• Handling select management reporting to investors for the business 

• Developing and preparing annual Limited Partner conference materials, pitch books and performance memos 

• Completing Limited Partner due diligence requests and handling investor queries 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Relevant financial, commercial degree / engineering, science, technology, math degree 

At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the financial services industry. 

CTC band [R625000-R900000 ]based on profile, background, experience and prior compensation level. Annual bonus band based on performance.
