JOB SUMMARY:

Our Client in Centurion is looking for a HR Administrator to act as the first point of call to employees for all HR related queries.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the HR Administrator is to act as the first point of call to employees for all HR related queries. As a priority, HR Administrators will handle the majority of employee documentation, including contracts, new employee processes, termination processes etc.
A good understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key. Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise may be necessary.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Including but not limited to:
  • New employee process
  • Fixed-term employment agreement management
  • Employee termination process
  • Employee file management
  • Time and Attendance management
  • Leave management
  • Disciplinary action assistance
  • Employee birthday and anniversary management
  • Employee benefit management
  • UI-19 update and submissions
  • Payroll preparation for salary processing
  • Services under supervision management
  • Council of Debt Collectors management
  • Health and Safety
  • Reporting
Other Administration duties:
  • Reception stand-in duties
  • Stationary Orders
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA
  • HR Qualification (Diploma minimum requirement)
  • Clear criminal and ITC record
  • At least 2 years working experience in HR field
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Pastel Payroll experience

  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) Beneficial
