Human Resources Manager (EXCO) – Private Hospital
POSITION INFO:
A leading private hospital is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its Executive Committee (EXCO).
This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to influence organisational strategy while providing executive oversight of the full Human Resources function within a highly regulated healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive workforce planning, organisational development, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership of the Human Resources function.
- Development and implementation of HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Executive support to the CEO and EXCO.
- Workforce planning and succession planning.
- Talent acquisition and retention of healthcare professionals.
- Employee and industrial relations management.
- Performance management and organisational development.
- Employment Equity planning and reporting.
- B-BBEE compliance support.
- HR governance and statutory compliance.
- HR reporting, analytics, and workforce insights.
- Leadership development and culture enhancement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor''''s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 10 years'''' Human Resources Management experience.
- Minimum 5 years'''' senior leadership experience.
- Private healthcare or hospital experience is ESSENTIAL.
- Strong Labour Relations and Employee Relations expertise.
- Experience managing disciplinary enquiries and CCMA matters.
- Knowledge of Employment Equity legislation and reporting.
- Knowledge of COIDA, BCEA, LRA and OHS legislation.
- Experience with HR Information Systems.
Preferred Requirements
- Postgraduate HR or Business qualification.
- Experience at Executive Committee level.
- SAGE 300 experience.
- Exposure to B-BBEE verification processes.
