HR Generalist / Head of Culture

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a HR Generalist with at least 4 – 5 years’ experience in HR operating as an HR Generalist to join their team in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Position: HR Generalist / Head of Culture
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Salary: Market Related
Closing Date: Thursday, 23 September 2021

Introduction:

• Provide advice and support to staff on the full function of HR in accordance with policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
• Directs a cross-functional team, culture committee and other working groups, to develop the strategy and approach to assess current culture and to develop a roadmap of actions necessary to engage, motivate and inspire employees across the organization.

• Experienced in rolling out cultural activations.
• Strong on HR Operations, strategic, creative, innovative and passionate.
• At least 4 – 5 years’ experience in HR, understanding the full HR value chain and operating as an HR Generalist. 

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Master degree in Industrial Psychology or a related field preferred

• At least 4 – 5 years’ experience in HR operating as an HR Generalist. 
• Experience cultivating employee growth and building strong team cultures.
• Good working knowledge of HR legislative requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications 
• ESS and VIP, Sage BEE 123  - working knowledge
