SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a HR Generalist with at least 4 – 5 years’ experience in HR operating as an HR Generalist to join their team in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Position: HR Generalist / Head of Culture
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Salary: Market Related
Closing Date: Thursday, 23 September 2021

Introduction:

Provide advice and support to staff on the full function of HR in accordance with policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
Directs a cross-functional team, culture committee and other working groups, to develop the strategy and approach to assess current culture and to develop a roadmap of actions necessary to engage, motivate and inspire employees across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

Experienced in rolling out cultural activations.
Strong on HR Operations, strategic, creative, innovative and passionate.
At least 4 – 5 years’ experience in HR, understanding the full HR value chain and operating as an HR Generalist.

Knowledge / Skills:

Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field
Master degree in Industrial Psychology or a related field preferred

Experience:

At least 4 – 5 years’ experience in HR operating as an HR Generalist.
Experience cultivating employee growth and building strong team cultures.
Good working knowledge of HR legislative requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
ESS and VIP, Sage BEE 123 - working knowledge
