SUMMARY:
The Senior HR Operational Manager / HR Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to business leadership, driving people initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, employee 
engagement, and compliance. The role leads the operational HR function, ensuring that HR strategies are implemented effectively across all business units while maintaining excellence in 
day-to-day HR delivery. This role bridges strategic HR planning and operational execution, ensuring that people, 
performance, and culture initiatives support business goals.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Industrial Psychology, or related field (essential)
• Postgraduate qualification in HR / Business Management (advantageous)
• 8–10 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior operational or HR business partnering role
• Experience in managing HR teams and partnering with senior leadership
• Proven track record in a complex or multi-site environment
• Knowledge of the motor industry and MIBCO advantageous

• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR compliance requirements
• Strategic HR planning and business partnering
• Employee relations and industrial relations expertise
• HR systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle, VIP) and data analytics capability
• Talent management and organisational development
• Strong business acumen and analytical thinking
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
