SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to manage the design, coordination, and execution of HVAC systems for mining and heavy industrial clients. The role involves working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and client representatives, to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage HVAC projects from design through to installation and commissioning
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical documentation
Coordinate HVAC design with mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines
Ensure compliance with mining standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
Review drawings, technical submittals, and method statements
Liaise directly with mining clients, consultants, and site teams
Oversee contractors and provide technical support during construction
Participate in site inspections, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience in HVAC project engineering
Proven experience working on mining or heavy industrial projects
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (ventilation, chilled water, air handling, and dust control)
Familiarity with mining safety standards and site work environments
Ability to work on-site and travel to mining locations as required
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
