Head: Business Transformation

SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will assist the business heads and operational teams with the implementation and delivery of business improvement and governance initiatives.

POSITION INFO:

It will also involve analysis and reporting as an input to identifying, prioritising and measuring the success of these opportunities. 

Key role responsibilities

Project office:

• Responsible for project management resources (internal & external)
• Co-ordinate, track and help the project managers drive the implementation and delivery of multiple projects and operational initiatives

Governance office:

• Oversee a team that support the wider business with the first line management and implementation of Risk, Compliance, Audit & regulatory requirements as well as client complaints resolution, responses, monitoring and analytics.
• Translate client feedback into operational improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with the Cluster and Group in respect of the 2^nd line risk, compliance & audit functions.

Reporting:

• Responsible for tracking and reporting on key metrics, actual versus targets, milestone delivery.
• Liaise with teams to assist with financial analysis & models, business cases construction, business improvement & service delivery opportunities.
• Collate formalised business reporting as well as adhoc data, analytical & reporting requests.

Data governance:

• Responsible for the support of the operational areas in respect of data governance & integrity.
• Oversee a team of data specialists who provide data steward, data integrity, special calculations and analysis services for the wider business.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum a tertiary qualification, preferably majoring in Finance, Accounting or Business Management
• Ideally have a finance / business management background with strong operational, analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong leadership capability at a senior level and be able to demonstrate project management / operational delivery.
