Our client, a leading player in the iGaming sector, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Affiliates to lead their affiliate marketing efforts in Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop and execute the overall affiliate strategy, focusing on quality customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability. You will be responsible for establishing and achieving affiliate acquisition and revenue targets, managing high-value partnerships, and exploring new channels and emerging opportunities within the affiliate space. Duties: Develop and own the overall affiliate strategy. Establish and meet affiliate acquisition and revenue targets. Develop scalable affiliate programmes aimed at quality customer acquisition and revenue growth. Identify new affiliate channels, partner categories, and emerging opportunities. Lead the recruitment and onboarding of high-value affiliate partners. Negotiate and structure diverse agreements, including CPA, Revenue Share, Hybrid, Fixed-fee, and bespoke deals. Monitor and analyze affiliate performance metrics such as FTDs, deposits, active players, revenue share, ROI, LTV, conversion, and retention. Develop strategies to increase affiliate-generated revenue, including reactivating dormant affiliates and expanding high-value partnerships. Coordinate with marketing and creative teams to develop and execute affiliate promotional campaigns. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key affiliates and publishers. Ensure compliance with gambling regulations, responsible gambling standards, and internal policies. Oversee affiliate commission calculations, payments, and financial reporting. Develop and maintain affiliate performance dashboards and reports. Lead and develop the Affiliate Management team, setting KPIs and performance targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate affiliate activities into broader customer acquisition strategies. Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience within the iGaming industry, preferably sportsbook and\/or online casino. Proven experience managing and growing an affiliate programme. Strong track record managing publisher and affiliate relationships. Demonstrated commercial negotiation skills. Strategic thinking, business development, and performance marketing expertise. Proficiency in data analysis and team leadership. Relevant industry knowledge and a proactive approach.
